I have been reminded that what appears to be good and that which appears to be bad are always present. When I relax and observe both realities, I am calmed. So, I will show you one image from an overcast day, the kind of day that can depress me when I yearn for color, followed by a photo taken when the sun shone brightly.
A mantra in spiritual formation is "notice, name, and change." Too often I have run to change. Slowing down to notice and even not notice is good for me.
