This past May I returned to Chestnut Hill College to celebrate the graduation of my friends. Those I know best have persevered through many challenges and worked very hard to complete the requirements for graduation.
I miss the work, the comradery, the fun of presenting to my classmates when I am well prepared. When I began the program, I would burst into tears when asked to introduce myself to the circle of students. In the final course, I flew into class with a light heart, knowing that what I had done was fine work.
I cannot now imagine being given another such opportunity to flourish. I am so grateful for what I was given and that I had courage to persevere, like my good friends.
